A Post by PMAN President Pretty Okafor TEE MAC CONFESSES TO POLICE ON STEALING PMAN LAND: REVEALS THE NAMES OF HIS ACCOMPLICES, AND HOW THE FRAUD ALL HAPPENED .... On Thursday, 02/06/16 we were all present at the Police Force Headquarters, Abuja, myself Pretty Okafor, Dr. Kenny George, Barristers Vure Kara & Kingsley Ukeme and Zaaki Azzay where the investigation of Tee Mac on the fraudulent stealing of PMAN landed property is ongoing. Tee Mac came with one of his states imposters from Abuja. The questioning started with me, Pretty Okafor to state the facts of the allegations. I took everyone through the documents and evidences, showed the police the forged documents which indicted the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja Geographic Information System AGIS, and even the Trade Union registrar . Tee Mac on the other hand could not even present any document to refute what I presented. On seeing those documents he got agitated and started calling the names of everyone who was involved in this fraud, saying he was not the only one who orchestrated this fraud. The officer in charge saw that he was not together and asked him if he wanted to us to excuse him, he then asked that we excuse him that he wanted to speak alone to the investigating officer. We were then asked to step out for some minutes. When we left Tee Mac stayed back with his team and confessed the entire story to the officer, revealing the names, identity, addresses of his cohorts saying he is ready to hand over all the documents to the I.G. this Thursday 09/06/16. The names of his accomplices according to him are Oris Wiliki, George Dureke, Brown Bread, Oke Dike, Charlimo, chris mba, Kevin Luciano and Harris Ibezim okeilo (Dr Zimakoy). I Pretty Okafor, objected that Kevin Luciano is not part of it based on the fact that this fraud happened years before he came on the scene, but Tee Mac swore that kevin Luciano is part and parcel of it all. When we were called back in after 30 minutes, Tee Mac fell on his knees and told me and my team that he needs to apologize to the entire entertainment industry, that he was sorry and that it was a mistake and the handy work of the devil. He said he was pressurized by Oris Wiliki, George Dureke, Brown Bread, Oke Dike, Charlimo, Kevin Luciano and Harris Ibezim (Dr Zimakoy) to open a company called PMAN so as to use the certificate to claim the land given to the Music Association. After searching in C.A.C the name was available so they were all made members of the board of directors in this fraudulent PMAN Company. This was how they all became directors and members of the fraudulently registered PMAN which stands for Performing Musician Association Of Nigeria. while the original name is performing musicians employer’s association of Nigeria In his written confession Tee Mac has promised to produce the Board of Directors because the crime and loot of the Landed property was enjoyed by all of them. He will cooperate with The Police and AGIS so that he can move the name back to the original owners the Performing Musicians Employers' Association of Nigeria. |
He told us that he was very sorry for all the inconveniences and pains he Tee Mac has caused the Union.I insisted that Tee Mac had deceived us with these crocodile tears not once, not twice and that he should write a statement and tell the Police all he just confessed to us....that this will never be accepted orally. It MUST be written and SIGNED by Tee Mac. This he did. All the evidences tendered before the Police shows that many musicians and government officials are going down for defrauding the Federal Government and The Union. Tee Mac has admitted to the crime. Written and Signed. Stating that the Trade Union Secretary was aware of the fraud on the land. That he forged the documents through AGIS and CAC. How this forgery went down is about to be revealed.
To our shock he also told us that it was his elder sister who is a Judge in Lagos State High Court who called a friend and Judge at the Federal High Court HON.JUSTICE C.M.A OLATOREGUN-ISHOLA to give that fraudulent ruling. And that his Lawyer Dada Awosika who used his connection from the office of the Attorney General of Federation to move the case to another court without regard for the rule of Law. Right now I dare Mr Tee Mac and his cohort to come to this page or anywhere else to refute what I have revealed in this post. |

FG/IGP Steps Into The Issue of PMAN Land Stolen By Tee Mac
In a letter dated 25th April 2016 addressed to the Inspector General of Police and copied Mr. President Mohammadu Buhari and the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation and signed by Mr. Pretty Okafor and Dr Kenny George, PMAN President and General Secretary respectively. The letter which had its heading “MONUMENTAL FRAUD, STEALING, FORGERY AND CRIMINAL CONVERSION OF PMAN LANDED PROPERTY IN ABUJA AGAINST MR TEE MAC AND HIS COHORTS” states that
1. The Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria otherwise known as “PMAN “as registered under the Trade Union’s Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, was allocated a parcel of land measuring more than 8 hectares for the purpose of developing a modern day music and entertainment complex in Abuja by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 1992 and thereafter, reallocated between 1999 and 2003. While arrangements were being made to develop the place in accordance with the original plan, Mr. Tee Mac Omatshola Itseli in 2010, clandestinely went to the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and registered” Performing Musician Association of Nigeria- using the same acronym (PMAN), with which he deceived the FCT authorities that granted him a certificate of occupancy of the said land.
2. The Trade Unions Act, section 20 and as amended makes it a criminal offence for anybody or group of persons to register an Association or Union similar to an existing one.
3. Mr. Tee Mac Omatshola Itseli was neither an officer nor an official of PMAN as at 2010 when he did all these things.
4. Since dubiously acquiring the said land, Mr. Tee Mac Omatshola Itseli has never allowed peace to reign in PMAN as he keeps sponsoring one form of crisis or the other, amongst other things.
Meanwhile the Inspector General of Police Mr. Solomon Arase has set up a high powered investigation into the matter, by inviting all those involved in the issue to come and say what they know.
With this development, it is hoped that the Union albeit, the Industry will soon heave a sigh of relief as the cause of the perennial crisis of the Union will soon be over. To underscore the significance of this development, PMAN shall very soon use its strengths and energy to carry out such tasks that will spell good for our country through restructuring and re-positioning the practice standard of the Industry to conform with the International ones as obtained in Europe, America and Asia which positively impacts on the economies of such countries. Nigeria is noted for its huge potentials in this regards. But the crisis in PMAN over the years has denied the country the opportunity to benefit from its huge resources in the creative economy.
Our belief in this is informed by the fact that we now have a President, His Excellency Mohammadu Buhari who does not tolerate corruption.

Against the backdrop of the storyline titled "labour minister to resolve PMAN Leadership crisis" !
Against the backdrop of the storyline titled "labour minister to resolve PMAN Leadership crisis" we are compelled to react and place the facts on record with a view to correct the impression being portrayed to members of the public by the misleading story.
That the consent judgement establishing the current interim national executive caretaker committee of the Performing Musicians Employers' Associations of Nigeria (PMAN) in a suit no FHC/L/CS/919/2012 delivered by hon. Justice O. E. Abang of the Federal High Court, Lagos Division on the 31st October, 2014 stands and subsisting until set aside or vacated.
That the applicants in the suit no NICN/LA/272/2015 pending at the National Industrial Court of Nigeria (NICN) is yet to be heard and determined which proceedings are expected to be commenced as soon as the court resume after their vacation accordingly.
That the case is seeking among other things, a restraining order against the following:

. Mr. Kelvin Luciano Gabriel
. Orits Williki
. Dr. Tee Mac Itseli
. Ital Bony
. Kabiru Kahinde
. Charles Imoloame
. George Dureke
. Frank Irabor
. Chris Mba
. Richard Cole
. Adeola Levite
. Papa Laty
. Samson Nwachuwu
. Omas Lance Perry
. Ade samson
. Sony Neme

either by themselves, their privies and cohorts, the self-styled peace initiative from acting in any way or attempt to undermine the lawful administration of PMAN, or parading themselves whatsoever as legal representative of PMAN, or PMAN electoral committee, do or say anything that will further affect or interfere with the management and general administration of PMAN in whatever capacity henceforth.
It is our strong belief that nobody is or should be above the law, in the light of the foregoing as law abiding people, we stand by our judgement and other pending court processing and shall follow same to logical conclusi on and for the avoidance of doubt, we are not averse to peace and settlement of the matter, legal option appears to be most reliable at this juncture that justice will not only be done but must be seeing as being done once and for all.
We hereby wish to assure our numerous Members, Associates, Business Partners and Consultants that the current Interim National Executive Care Taker Committee under the able leadership of Mr. Pretty Okafor as President is standing on a sound legal footing as this is the only product of legitimate succession order in PMAN history until proven otherwise.
We therefore implore all concerned to eschew bitterness and order and embrace peace and order by enrolling into the current biometric identification card scheme for membership as it portends great future for our Union, the Music Industry and the Nation, Nigeria in General.
We shall continue to carry out our duties and functions as stipulated in the PMAN Constitution and also in the court judgement which has mandated us to deliver a New National Executive of PMAN at the expiration of the 18 month tenure.

Court Restricts Trade Union as Pretty Okafor Shuns Oritz Wiliki, Kelvin Luciano, others!
Basking in the euphoria of the success of its double events, 'Walk Against Piracy' and launch of the highly hyped 'Biometric Card', held last weekend, it's obvious things are gradually taking shape with the Performing Musician Association of Nigeria (PMAN). However, the supposed meeting to reconcile the aggrieved factions of the umbrella body of Nigerian artistes has ended in a gridlock. The reconciliatory meeting held at the conference room of the honourable minister of labour and productivity, federal secretariat complex in Abuja, on Thursday 25th of June, 2015, saw Mr Pretty Okafor, the president of PMAN walking out of the meeting as he maintained that he and his executives stand by the judgement establishing the interim executive caretaker committee accordingly. The said reconciliatory meeting was convened at the instance of the Registrar of Trade Union Mrs N. Mbougu had in attendance Mr. Pretty Okafor, Mr. Sunny Neji, Zaaky Azaay, Felix Duke, Dr. Kenny George and Mr Brown Bread, others where Mr Kelvin Lucciano, Orits Williki, Chris Mba and others. The permanent secretary of the ministry of labour and productivity who chaired the opening secession of the meeting and maintained in his opening remarks that the rule of law is paramount, also in attendance were the director of industrial relations Mrs Ilo and other officials of the ministry. After deliberations and debates Mr Okafor insisted that he is not averse to reconciliation but however, true reconciliation would be possible if all musicians in Nigeria including those present embrace the current BIOMETRIC ID CARD SCHEME for PMAN members, he further affirmed that since there is a judgement in place "Nobody is above the Law" therefore that judgement stands until vacated. Mr. Okafor further advised the house and musicians to eschew bitterness in the overall interest of PMAN Members, music industry and our dear nation Nigeria as our country stands to benefit from the numerous projects and business partnerships put in place by his administration. On our judgement we stand he concluded. Meanwhile the suit number NICN/LA/272/15 filed at the national industrial court seeking order or injunction restraining the registrar of trade unions, whether by himself, his agents, privies, or assigns from relating with and or have any further dealings and transactions with the said illegally constituted body known as peace initiative committee or their illegally constituted electoral committee and the following: Mr. Kelvin Luciano Gabriel, Orits Williki, Sony Neme, Alhaji M.A. Sodik, Dr. Tee Mac Itseli, King Feladay, Ital. Bony Kabiru Kahinde, Charles Imoloame, George Dureke, Frank Irabor, Chris Mba, Richard Cole, Adeola Levite Papa Laty, Samson Nwachuwu, Omas Lance Perry, Ade samson, Murphy Van Anthony under the leadership of Mr. Kelvin Luciano in the name of PMAN henceforth. An injunction restraining the respondent by themselves, privies, or assigns from parading and or further parading themselves as lawful representatives of PMAN either in the name of peace initiative committee or under any other name whatsoever or further induce the first respondent to act outside its powers to disrupt and or frustrate the business and administration of PMAN nor seek to proscribe the union has been served on all the parties concerned from attempting to interfere or undermine the current drive has been served on all the parties concerned. Expectedly no one should do anything to the contrary until all cases are heard and determined by the court.
